Limited Liability Company “VACCA” was established on March 14, 2008 with an aim to breed the Charolais cattle. The farm is a purebreed Charolais farm, placed on the border with Lithuania, 40 km from Daugavpils city and 185 km from capital Riga. The farm owns more than 500 ha of land and 300 cattle. The farm uses biological methods and has been certified as biological farm. The cattle are fed with hay and silage, during the summer time they enjoy the meadows outside. As additional feeding is used biologically grown oats.

The whole breeding material has been obtained from the French farm “Elite Charolaise”. “Elite Charolaise” has supported the farm by choosing the heifers and bulls in different farms in France (more than 200 heifers and 4 bulls). “Elite Charolaise” provided their help and advise by building the farm, creating stands and equipment for the animals, as well as offering traineeships for the employees of limited liability company “VACCA” in farms of “Elite Charolaise”.
